From your Shopify admin, go to **Online Store** > **Themes**. 2. Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click **Customize**. 3. Navigate to the page where you want to add the app section. 4. Click **Add section**. 5. From the drop-down menu, in the **Apps** section, select the Ticket Spot that you want to add to the page. 6. Move the app section to the place you want it on the page. 7. Once this is complete you can [enable ticket purchasing](/features/ticket-purchasing) from the Event Viewer settings 1\. From the Ticket Spice dashboard select "extras" and then "widgets" 2\. On the Widgets page select "Tickets" 3\. There is no need to republish you Wix site as Event Viewer ensures your calendar is up to date. ### Experiencing a problem? View our [FAQ](/faq) or contact # Webhooks Setup webhooks and ensure your server is only receiving the expected Ticket Spot requests for security reasons. Once your server is configured to receive payloads, it'll listen for any payload sent to the endpoint you configured. For security reasons, you probably want to limit requests to those coming from Ticket Spot. There are a few ways to go about this--for example, you could opt to allow requests from Ticket Spot's IP address--but a far easier method is to set up a secret token and validate the information. To setup webhooks 1. Go to "Automations" within your dashboard 2. Select your trigger type you want to trigger events from 3. Select "Webhook" from the action list 4. Enter a destination URL where the payload will be sent 5. Enter a secret token that you will use to verify the header signature 6.
### Validating payloads from Ticket Spot When your secret token is set, Ticket Spot uses it to create a hash signature with each payload. This hash signature is included with the headers of each request as `x-ts-signature-256`. For example, if you have a basic server that listens for webhooks, it might be configured similar to this: ```ruby require 'sinatra' require 'json' post '/payload' do request.body.rewind push = JSON.parse(request.body.read) "I got some JSON: #{push.inspect}" end ``` The intention is to calculate a hash using your `SECRET_TOKEN`, and ensure that the result matches the hash from Ticket Spot. For example - Configure a campaign to send an email 5 minutes before an event starts # Actions Actions are the functions that the workflow will execute for particular tasks. Actions include internal and external communications (SMS, Email, Slack), and record management (HubSpot, Constant Contact). ## Supported Integrations A full list of our supported actions is listed here - ## Attendee Selection By default, Ticket Spot will automatically execute the action on the attendees within the context of the trigger. For example if a visitor buys a ticket and you have configured the email integration then that attendee will receive an email. If you have setup an "Event Started" trigger then all the attendees of that event will be part of that action To have control over the types of attendees that get enrolled in the action you can manual select/filter the type of attendees. For example, if you want to send an email announcement then the email is only sent to customers from your customer list view. The list of customers can be viewed from the Ticket Spot Dashboard. # Setup Events Create an event to sell tickets using Ticket Spot. Go to your Events workspace and click “Create event”. Then enter your event details and add your tickets. After you create your event, get the word out by using Ticket Spot's promotional tools such as Twitter, Slack, Email and SMS. #### 1. Create a new event. From your `Widget` Click on `Events` which takes you to the Events workspace. Select "Add Event" #### 2. Enter your Basic info * **Event title** - Give your event a clear title. * **Event organizer** - The person or organization hosting the event. If your organizer isn't listed, [create a new profile for them](https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3458). * **Event type & category** - Your event's "genre". * **Event tags** - Keywords that help your attendees find your event. * **Event location**: Choose “Venue” if your location is in-person, or “Online event” if your location is virtual. Select "To be announced" if you aren't sure of your location yet. #### 3. Add your dates. Enter your event’s start and end date and time. If you have an event that occurs across multiple dates then select the recurring option #### 4. Add your event image and details * **Main event image**: Must be a JPEG or PNG no larger than 10MB. Images with at least 2160 x 1080px (a 2:1 ratio) work best. * **Description**: Write a description of the important details of your event.\ You can add additional images to your event description #### 5. Set up location and venue. If your event is taking place online the select online and either connect your Zoom account or add a link to your webinar or meeting. For Physical events add location and venue details #### 6. Create Event ### Set up your tickets #### 1. Go to “Tickets” and click “Create Ticket”. #### 2. Enter your ticket information. Choose a ticket type Then: \ 1. Give your ticket a name, like “General Admission”. 2. Add the quantity of tickets you have available. 3. Set the price (if it’s a paid ticket type). 4. Add a ticket description - Let attendees know what’s included with their ticket. 5. Limit the number of tickets per order - Set a limit if you only want attendees to select a certain amount of that ticket type per order. Limits can't be set on Donation ticket types 6.
